He/she manages and is responsible for the full complement of human resource activities for the Italy facility and its subsidiaries. He/she plays an integral role in defining the HR strategy that supports the company’s business goals and objectives for increased profitable growth. Areas under responsibility are: Research Organization Effectiveness Unions, Welfare and contractual aspects management Disciplinary Evaluation, development, training Personnell administration Reporting, budgeting and cost control Compensation & Benefits Change Management GDPR and L231 He/she works respecting quality, health and safety and compliance standards and continuous improvement in order to achieve the set objectives.
Key responsabilitie:
• Ensure Payroll activities and contractual aspects are compliant with Internal, National, Group laws and policies. Implements Group Control and Authorization processes.
• Audit with internal and external stakeholders management.
• Provide guidance and training to manager/supervisors on maintaining positive working relationships with all employees and a team oriented work environment.
• Counsel management and employees as required and takes the necessary steps to see that problems are resolved or channeled to management for proper and timely resolution.
• Provide employee relations assistance to management and employees on coaching, mentoring, training and development, performance management, rewards and recognition.
• Partner with global HR team to support business unit and enterprise wide initiatives.
• Act as employee advocate on issues/concerns to management and leadership team.
• Manage the staffing and selection activities for open positions and internal career opportunities/succession plans.
• Lead and/or develop organizational processes that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the business.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws, legal procedures, etc.
• Assist in the development of new policies and revises existing policies as required, ensuring their consistent and fair application.
• Provide all above activities to the HQ in Pont Saint Martin and in the European subsidiaries as well.
• Possess deep knowledge of GDPR and L231 regulations and act accordingly.

REQUISITI

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or related discipline required. Master’s degree in business, law, human resources or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, planning, analysis, effective coaching and facilitation skills and strong employee relation skills.
• Minimum of eight to ten years of human resources experience. Must have experience working in a multinational and multicultural manufacturing environment.
• Impeccable integrity, superior interpersonal skills, able to communicate and engage employees across all levels.
• Demonstrated track record of success in structured Talent Management Systems.
• Be a team player, but also work well with minimal supervision. Proactivity, ability to design strategy and implement it.
• Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with management, supervision and employees.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a hands-on person are essential.
• Mother tongue Italian. Fluency in English (oral and written) is required. French knowledge would be preferred.
